So I made it into Budapest. From the minibus, it almost looked like a Spanish country...the red roof tiles, greenery, crumbly stucco-looking buildings. Yet some of the houses have an Alpine-style architecture.
I'm staying at the Ramada, which thankfully has AC, because it's pretty hot here...supposed to be in the 90's and even up to 102 while I'm here. I'm planning out where I'm going to have dinner (it's about 7:30pm here now). If it's anything like NL, I should have light outside until 10p or so.
More later!

Hi!
I'm glad to see that you're in Budapest and am anxious to hear about your impressions of the city, costs, etc. I also want to hear about Malev.
Keep the info coming!!!!!

There were no chickens running around on Malev...disappointing in a way!:)
